The worship experience should not begin and end on Sunday, but continue in our daily lives. We worship God in the way we live (Psalms 19:14), in the things we do, and even in the things we choose not to do (James 1:19). The Emmanuel Experience is, therefore, not about the singing and the preaching and the fellowship so much but about our decision to live lives pleasing to God. It is about our love for one another (1 John 4:7) and about our patience with each other. We welcome you to experience the richness of God's love, and the new life that love can bring.
Don't Leave Things In Your Car!
Purses, cell phones and other items left in plain view are
invitations to the criminal element to break into your
vehicle.
Do not leave any valuables unsecured in your car. We
recommend that you place items in the trunk. EMBC cannot
assume responsibility
for damaged, lost or stolen property.
The most important thing we, as a family, can do for one another is to hold one another up in prayer. Please take a moment and visit our Prayer Request Page for our current Prayer List. Vending Machine and The Promise
The vending machine in the Fellowship Hall was recently donated to the church. All profits from your purchases go to The Promise, Emmanuel's Capital Stewardship Campaign.
Please do not use offering envelopes for scribbling notes, etc They should only be used for offerings.
Music plays when you first enter the site. The music player is embedded in our weblog, the small popUp window that opens when the site loads. Player controls are in the upper right hand corner or, to turn music off, simply close the window. DVDs & CDs of worship services are available in the Media Room.
The Emmanuel Experience is our broadcast 3:00 PM each Sunday on LeSea Broadcasting KWHSTV Broad-cast Channel 51. This dynamic outreach provides Emmanuel with an extended reach across the region in proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask all Emmanuel family and friends to pray for God's anointing on this vital outreach tool, and to support it by telling your family and friends to tune in. Media outreach, through broadcast and broadband (like our online ministry) creates opportunities to serve potentially millions of people who may never have the opportunity to worship with us within the walls of the church. For those beyond the reach of our local ministry, for the unchurched, the incarcerated, the sick and shut-in, the Emmanuel Experience is more than just a slogan. It is a call to action.
